Recordkeeping & Web Services

 

With ATLAS-401(k), RIAs, plan sponsors, and participants, will have access to the Schwab Retirement Technologies (SRT) platform, a robust online web portal for complete account access.  RIA’s are able to view all aspects of the plans they manage, either in the aggregate or at the plan or participant levels. Participants are able to access their account information, plan investments, and balances, while plan sponsors are able to access plan information and the tools and features they need to manage their entire plan efficiently. If requested, Everington is also available to provide services directly to plan sponsors and participants, from presenting information about SRT to employers, to resetting passwords.

SRT is a secure, intuitive, and a highly functional platform designed to impress your plan sponsor clients and to grow your business within the qualified retirement plan marketplace.

Participants who use SRT may also have access to customized online retirement guidance, including whether the participant is “on track” for their retirement. The system also makes recommendations for the participant, which may be carried out at the participant’s discretion with the click of a button.

Third Party Administration

 

RIA Partners are also given the option of using Everington’s Third Party Administrator (TPA) services. This includes, among many other services: updating and restating plan documents, preparing benefit statements for sponsors and participants, processing distributions, annual plan testing for compliance with IRS non-discrimination requirements and contribution limits, allocating employer contributions, calculating participants’ vested percentages, and preparing annual reports required by IRS, DOL, and other government agencies.


 

ERISA 3(38) Fiduciary Services

 

An ERISA 3(38) fiduciary is a discretionary fiduciary to the plan. This type of fiduciary accepts in writing the responsibility and associated liability regarding the selection and ongoing oversight of the plan assets—and, in doing so, relieves the plan sponsor of those same responsibilities and liabilities. Everington utilizes its RIA entity solely to fill the role as a 3(38) fiduciary, as is required by ERISA. This service prevents our ATLAS-RIA Partners from becoming “at-risk” fiduciaries. Furthermore, 3(38) Fiduciary Services act as an excellent selling point for potential plan sponsor clients


 

Good Governance Services

 

Good Governance Services are the final piece of the puzzle in minimizing plan sponsor liability. The services will include benchmarking, fi360 reports, committee meeting oversight, archived meeting minutes, ongoing plan consulting, design, and advice. They also include enhanced participant education and online actionable retirement planning. This powerful service package is designed to provide your plan sponsor clients peace of mind and further eliminate their liability and their workload.
